Never enough space .. even on the walls !!!I have way too much stuff, and I want it all protected, accessible, and to show well too. I have tried multiple different styles of guitar hangers. Most are horrible .. these are GREAT .. They offer everything you could possibly want.The base plate is flat. That allows it to sit all the way against the wall. Not only does that allow you to hang other thing nearby, but more importantly, it allows you to get a REAL DRYWALL SCREW in there. (None of these sets come with adequate drywall screws - [please] - you will have to buy legitimate drywall anchors. These guitars are upwards of $1k, protect them - buy the $15 drywall screws I beg you - buy good anchors) Those thick wooden hangers look great, but when you use a real drywall anchor, you have to buy a longer screw, because the ones that come in the kit aren't long enough to reach through the thick wood and into the anchor. These ... are perfect, thin enough for all screw-sets.The "U" joint is super long, so everything fits. No matter the neck size, or if you have locking nuts.The hanger sits on a gimbal, so it can adjust itself to the weight of the guitar. Allowing for the guitar to hang straight up and down, no matter the shape of the headstock.Of all the guitar hangers I've had (and thrown away) these are by far my favorite.
