**UPDATE 9 months later** I am very pleased with the quality of these foam inserts! I have ordered more than I custom sized so I did not need to cut it myself! The company is great to work with and responds quickly!**I purchased two separate pieces of 4" foam for 2 different sized window seats and had custom covers made for them. The foam was very firm, clean and high quality. It came shrink wrapped and expanded quickly. As the foam was larger than what we needed, we had to cut off several inches ourselves, although it went very well! It cuts easily with a long serrated bread knife. We measured out the size we needed with a long straight ruler and used a marker to draw the exact size we needed. We made long slice marks through the foam which left the cut edge smooth. There are several youtube videos we watched on cutting foam and this was helpful in allowing us to get a smooth cut. I would NOT recommend making short up and down (sawing motion) cuts as that will leave the cut edge jagged looking and that may be visible in your finished project. I didn't know they can cut the foam to a custom size and I am in the process of ordering more foam for another bench. I reached out to the company to get a quote on a custom cut size and they responded quickly. I will try and post an update on the custom size foam when I receive it!

Awesome price, fantastic quality, no smell from added chemicals or flame retardants, and fast shipping. I used this to replace 2 couch cushions for a Gronlid couch from IKEA that got milk spilled on them. Super easy to size and cut with a Sharpie and serrated bread knife. Nous avons acheté ce produit pour fabriquer un divan extérieur.Le " foam" est parfait ! J'hésitais entre le 4" et 5" comme épaisseur, et j'ai bien fait d'opter pour le 4 ". Il est très ferme comme mentionné dans la description et les dimensions sont respectées.En ouvrant la boîte ( livraison dans les délais)... les coussins ont pris la forme immédiatement. Je ne regrette pas du tout...après un mois d'utilisation, la fermeté est tjrs là...nous sommes confortables... et le chien aussi aime beaucoup !!!Je le recommande... j'aurais peut-être dû prendre 3" vu la fermeté... mais je crois que le 4 " sera une meilleure garantie à long terme !!

We have a bunk in our RV that was damaged by water. Replacement mattresses were going to be pricey and would have to be cut to fit. We use the RV only a few months a year so We decided to try this out before cutting into an expensive mattress. The kids like this mattress more than the original and want us to replace the other bunk! For $50 plus a mattress cover. This was absolutely a win. Let’s hope is holds up for a few years.
