Vlinderdas ziet er leuk uit. Sluiting is ook makkelijk. Alleen de 4 secties van de das verschuiven steeds, waardoor ze elkaar overlappen en niet mooi naast elkaar blijven staan. Wellicht valt dit op te lossen door iets aan de achterkant te monteren, zodat ze keurig blijven zitten.

The quality of the cloth and elastic and sewing is satisfactory and I like the metallic colour of the cloth. For me steampunk has to be bold, full of eye catching pieces inspired by Victorian mechanical paraphernalia and elements/imagery drawn from19th century novels. This bowtie is not blessed with an excess of ornamentation and the one piece of leather like cloth with 'rivets' embedded which is too close in colour to the bowtie material to be particularly noticeable, it looks inadequate. I plan to add more bits, I have cogs and wheels and other small clockwork embellishments in differing volumes of bronze, brass and copper. I already have these embellishments and I am actually looking forward to add my own touches but for many others the extra effort may seem too much and they will either want a simpler understated bowtie like this or want something more 'statement' I suspect for many they will want something more showy and eye catching, steampunk is afterall not about subtlety.
