It is very light weight and good for as a large scarf / shawl. Besides the scarf idea there's a way to put it on and shape a hood (look up ruana cloaks). It's a great idea when in the sun. However, this is not something for cooler or cold weather by itself.The two pins are charming. One is broach-like, silver, with a straight pin and clasp. The second is a horseshoe, brass colored.If you don't know this is how the clasp works. After pulling the material over your shoulders slip the pin through the spot you want to close. Then drop the opening of the horseshoe over the pin, then spin the pin a 1/4 or 1/2 twist. The pin is over the horse shoe. It will hold in place and doesn't slip.

Habe es bestellt und eigentlich nicht viel erwartet, aber ich muss sagen ich bin total verliebt! Schöne Qualität und es sieht toll aus :)
