Ligera, mucho. La superficie perfecta para acuarela. Se daña con facilidad, sobre todo los bordes si se golpean. Las grapas dejan agujeros en la superficie e incluso la hunden un poco. Mejor usar cinta si quieres que te dure tiempo. Fácil de cortar en tamañose más pequeños si fuera necesario.

I got this board for my watercolor class as I intend to bring it with me from school to home. I used plywood as a board before and on top of being ridiculously heavy to carry around, it left marks and stains on the back of my watercolor sheet and smells awful when wet.This board is amazingly sturdy for how light it feels, and has no odor when I wet it. It can take staples and I have seen my classmates staple their papers on to the board over and over again without ruining the structure. However, I am too protective of my things and have devised a system of binder clips and waterproof-ed popsicle sticks to stretch my paper instead of staples. It works really well and I am so happy to have shelled out a few more bucks to get this board definitely worth the extra $$.

I needed a gator board for stretching watercolour paper, this products works well for this application.

The corners of the board came slightly crushed and chipped. I haven't used any binder clips on it in fear of damaging it more. Also, mine seemed to have come with a rough textured surface, but I just scrubbed it down with a damp rough wash cloth to smooth it out.
