Works great for stick handling. Do not practice shooting though. This is for passing and stick handling only. I think the manufacturer mentions this on the packaging aswell.

I use this on a shooting pad for practise. I've got 5 of these and a load of ice hockey pucks. These are far better for stick handling off ice than normal pucks. Just be warned you can't shoot with them as they will smash.
