I explore different routes all the time and cycle several times a week, using the GREFAY Bike Phone Mount Universal Bicycle Motorcycle Cell Phone Holder Smartphone Cradle Clamp for 3.5-6.5 inch GPS Device (PB03A) to be explicit. I have used the same one for just over 4 years and last year bought a backup as I realised I can't get a better phone holder than this for anything like the price (£18). I have put the backup on my backup bike and use the old one continually. It's really good. You can put you phone on or take it off in about 4 seconds. It holds it perfectly securely. It comes with pads you can use singly or double up as required for snug fitting and protection from jarring.
