Worked on my Audi 2011 a4 b8 for the front windscreen wipers. A near impossible task of removing them initially by hammering and wiggling the arms, this tool saved the day. It’s important that the grip is the way this tool is designed. Put the wipers on the service position first and then use the tool. Wipers were off in a seconds.

Vu comme le bras d'essuie glace arrière a "claqué" en se libérant, j'aurais jamais pu le sortir autrement qu'avec cet outil ! Etre patient, faire 1/4 de tour à la fois quand ça commence à forcer, asperger avec du wd40, laisser quelques secondes entre chaque 1/4 de tour, et recommencer. Ca vient quand on ne s'y attend pas !

There are so many wiper arm/battery terminal and other small, general purpose pullers out there. I just wanted to quickly get a very stuck wiper arm off with no messing about and wasn't intending to use the thing regularly or as a trade tool so I looked very carefully at all the offerings on Amazon and with an engineer's eye decided this one seemed best. As it turned out I think this tool is well made enough to last and could find it's way into a mechanics toolbox. My main reason for choosing it was: It's all made of carbon tool steel which has a bit of ductility in it, a bit of forgiving spring, unlike some of the similar tools which have a threaded cast block. A fair few reviews of those pullers complain of this component splitting, some with photos. The price was good – not too silly chinacheap and not expensive. I also liked that this puller was made specifically for wiper arms - I'm sure it would have not trouble with battery terminals either. I used it on an Audi A3 rear wiper arm and it worked like a charm where a more traditional 3-arm extractor failed. Obviously can’t say it would work as well on all makes of car, although I'm sure it would work VW's, Seat's and Skoda's because of parts similarities.Well that wasn’t meant to be so long 😐 but I am so impressed with this little tool that I felt it deserved a good bit thumbs up!
