Gretsch Drumset, CT1J484SWG, 2014, Catalina Club, Jazz, 4-delige trommelset, satijn walnootglazuur

I'm in love with this kit. I've been playing the same old Royce set for over 15 years and finally decided it was time for an upgrade. My drum teacher recommended this Gretsch kit in particular due to my recent foray into jazz and I couldn't be happier. It's beautiful to look at, sounds even better (with proper tuning) and is a pleasure to play. It's made me enjoy drumming 100% more. The old axiom "you get what you pay for" rings true with this kit.. worth every penny.Do note that the cymbal stands aren't included, nor is the snare stand. This is merely the shell pack - so all drums and head hardware. The rest you need to provide yourself.

Good wee kit for price. Felt it was light for supposed mahogany shells. Only used for light use at the moment as I have s tama hyperdrive that kicks for hard rock. But will try soon with heavier sticks

Love this inexpensive little kit. The mahogany shells give a warm deep sound, especially the kick and floor Tom. I was going to buy the 3pc. but, thought I’d try the snare. Very throaty and solid sound. I ported the kick 5” hole and use a few moongels on Toms and that’s it. I had to purchase a more modern kick pedal as my old speed King’s contacted the kick hoop. I highly recommend this shell pack. Did I mention the look? They’re beautiful!

I'm a 56yr old drummer, and have been playing on and off all my life. Beautiful kit, with a great sound! I added the 16" floor tom, Evans EC2 & EMAD heads, a Zildjian Studio cymbal pack, DW bass drum beater, and G5 hardware. These are the nicest drums I've ever owned personally. Currently being used as my home practice kit, as I play a Gretsch Maple Renown kit at Church. Love these drums!
