EVA Schaummatten gibt es in verschiedenen Dichten und diese Matte hier, hat 86 kg/m^3. Das Gummi bietet also einen gewissen Widerstand beim Zusammendrücken und läßt sich, bedingt durch die Festigkeit, auch sehr gut schneiden und verarbeiten. Wer solche Platten kauft, weiß auch meistens, wofür er sie einsetzen will. Von daher muss man da nicht allzu viele Worte verlieren.Die Schaummatte kommt eng zusammengerollt in Folie verschweisst an. Bei einer Breite von 34 cm ist die Umverpackung auch entsprechend klein, was mich zuerst wunderte, bis mir einfiel, dass die Matte ja nicht viel breiter als ein DIN A4 Blatt ist.Der EVA Schaum zeigt eine homogene und fehlerfreie Oberfläche und ist fast geruchlos.Fazit: Jederzeit wieder kaufen.

EVA foam is a wonder-material when it comes to crafts. It's flexible, pliable, easy to cut, texture, and glue... the possibilities are endless. I use this stuff primarily for making terrain for miniature wargames, but it's great in a pinch for wearable crafts, too. I ordered this particular brand (in 2mm thickness) in a couple different colors. I'll be honest, I almost always seal and paint it, so the color doesn't matter much to me, but if it does to you, the colors of the foam itself matched the images EXACTLY.Now I do have one minor quibble with this foam, specifically: it's not great at holding pressed textures. For example, if you are using a texture roller, you need one with really deep, exaggerated geometry and you want to use a lot of pressure. The foam will "spring back" a fair bit. Part of this is due to how thin it is (thicker foam holds pressed texture better) but I've used other EVA foams that haven't had so much spring-back.It's a minor complaint, really, but if that's your use-case, just keep it in mind.

Good quality foam for all needs. The gray is pretty close to what is pictured too.
