It's nice and bright, whether you use it to read at night, or as a night light/torch/flashlight for when you wake up and have to go to the toilet. The brightness is adjsutable, but I do wish it capped at the max and lowest setting. Right now it cycles so if you hold the button it will raise the light to max and then start lowering the light again if you keep holding it. I'd prefer it if it stopped at max brightness and required me to repress the button and hold it to lower it back down. The battery lasts a decen time and the battery indicator is nice and clear. It charges with usb C which is another great thing. All in all 100% worth the price.

Ik had het lampje gekocht om op mijn slaapkamer te kunnen lezen door het lampje op mijn boek vast te maken. Er komt veel én erg prettig licht af (drie opties). Ik heb hem nu aan een kast geklemd en gebruik hem als nachtlampje. Helemaal perfect.Normaal schrijf ik geen reviews bij een product, maar hier ben ik zo blij mee dat ik het toch doe.

Big fan, I like that they made it rechargeable instead of battery powered, you can choose what colour light you want it and when holding you can also make it brighter or less bright

The Gritin reading lamp works perfectly and conveniently as advertised. I use it for reading and to lighten my keyboard. So far (one day) not any shortcoming discovered. I am happy with this product. I don't know what is the lifetime of the battery. It can't be replaced. Hope it will last long enough before I have to toss it away.

Goedkoop leeslampje wat gewoon doet wat het moet doen. Het is erg prettig dat het lampje 3 standen heeft en op te laden is via usb c. Het is alleen een gemis dat het lampje niet dimbaar is. Verder werkt het zoals verwacht!

I like that the charging is done through a C-fitting so you can use your phone or iPad cable. It can also grip a drawer or table etc. Not just for books.

Meerdere van dit soort lampjes geprobeerd. Over deze ben ik tevreden.

As a first impression it does a very good job of lighting the book pages, does not interfere with the page turning, can easily be mounted on the book, even flexible paperbacks. Has a stiff structure so can be bend fixed in position. Very good value overall.

Honestly one of the best reading lights I've used. It works well and has three settings.

My original goal was to purchase 15 clamp-on led lights for under 10 dollars each for use as music stand lights for our ukulele club. I purchased 5 different lites for testing. We may only use them 2 or 3 times a year, so an official $40.00 music stand light is out of the question. The below are all reading lamps, not music stand lamps.Gritin 9 led for $8.99 - 180 degree head (on sale)Glocusent Willow 10 led $8.99 - 180 degree headBriignite 14 led for $9.99 90 - degree headGritin 16 led for 13.99 - 180 degree headOne cheap-o from another on-line store, not worth mentioning*Unfortunately for my wallet, the Critin 16 turned out to be the best for our situation.For a music stand light in a dark room you need all of the light shooting straight down. Any light coming out the front or side that can be seen by the audience or other performers is very annoying.*The Gritin 9 and Willow both emit light from the front and sides. My thoughts of making a mask with gaff tape for either of these, times 15 lites, put them out of the running.*The Briignite 14 shoots straight down and is the easiest to adjust because it has 3 switches on the lamp head (on/off-color-intensity) but the gooseneck is long and we would have to have a loop in it. The supplied usb-a to micro usb charging cord is only 18 inches long. One single led charging indicator changes from red to green. However the Briignite 14 makes a great work light as the clamp also serves to sit on a flat surface and gives about 9 inches of clearance for your hands on tiny projects. It's a keeper, but just not for use with a music stand, but good as a work light.*The Gritin 16 comes with a 36 inch usb to usb-c reversible plug. The flexible shaft has a re-inforcing gusset at the clamp and at the light. The 7 inch flex tube is 3 times the thickness of all the other lights and appears that it will hold up better under constant bending.It perfectly illuminates a notebook binder with side by side 8 &1/2 x 11 pages. See the picture taken in total darkness.* The only negative of the Critin 16 is that there is only a single, multipurpose button on the lamp head to control on-off-color selection-brightness level (in steps 10% to 100%). It takes a while and many button presses to get to your perfect light level and I see the single button as the weak spot and probably the first thing to break.. There are 4 blue micro leds on the clamp which show the charging/discharging rate (see picture of fully charged battery). They are mostly hidden by the moveable portion of the clamp and are not an annoyance. I cannot address longevity, but almost every rechargeable led light has a few negative reviews stating the battery will not hold a charge after xxxx months. I will update this review with any problems we encounter.*The lamp head is in the picture, but since all of the light is downward, you can't see it which is perfect. The lamp head is about 2 inches above the notebook and about 4 inches forward from the stand. * The setting in the picture is max daylight which is the first push of the button. When you want to turn the lamp off from this position, you must press the button 3 SHORT presses which cycles thru BLUE light, ORANGE light, and then OFF. (A long press starts the process of stepping down the intensity down to 10% . If you keep holding the button down when it reaches 10%, it starts stepping back up to 100%.*If you have it set for a less than 100% intensity and turn it off, it remembers the intensity percentage when tuned back on. However, it always comes on as daylight no matter what the color selection was when you turned it off. So if you turned it off when it was set to orange 60%, one quick press will turn it on to daylight 60% , and 2 more quick presses will get you to orange 60% again. It takes a little time to learn the routine, but after about 3 uses it becomes second nature. *Also, there was a maximum of 5 lights per order per day, so it took 3 days to purchase all the lamps.

This is a real good product. Neat and ergonomically designed. Like that it has three choices of lighting. Yet to observe how long the charge lasts. Will update if too short. Otherwise all good and very pleased with this product :)
