The instructions are for the oder flush valve that Grohe no longer make so it was a nightmare trying to work out where to fit it. Once the "flow control valve" was in place the flush mechanism would not seat back in correctly and aftre much struggling and use of mobile phone video down inside the cistern I worked out that the new part was too long and standing proud and stopping the flush unit fitting back into place. The only solution is to cut around the first line down from the top with a sharp knife or hacksaw so that the black cone fits down inside the hole at the base of the cistern and the flush mechanism can sit back in that hole without touching it. At this point the "flush control valve" does work in so much as it slows the flow of water into the bowl and helps cut out the splasjing from the bowl on a modern rimless toilet BUT.... let's talk about the "flush control valve" it's a big name for a small plastic funnel less than the length of your thumb and it is made from thin plastic. There is nothing inside it, no valve as such just a tapered tube. it's a bit like the neck of a plastic bottle and for HOW MUCH? £14+ are they effing joking!! I have already fed this back to Grohe via email. This item should be included as standard with all Grohe cisterns as an optional extra to use in case you are having a rimless loo because without it the grohe cistern is unsuitable for a rimless loo. Grohe include all kinds of extra fittings to cope with different fitting senarios so why this is an extra £14 and can only be bought from a third party is anyones guess. My advice would be to try and make one or use anything at all to reduce the diameter of the outflow from the base of the cistern because that's all this is doing, forcing the flush down a narrower hole. It works once modified but for £14 you shouldn't have to mess about for hours and work out your own modification and it's a 50p item at best.

Occorre inserire il cilindro nel foro di scarico della cassetta, ed il bordo superiore deve essere al di sotto della sede della valvola di scarico (altrimenti avrete perdite). Il flusso si può regolare perfettamente modificando la forma del cono con un semplice taglierino. Un paio di giorni più del solito per la spedizione, così come il prezzo piuttosto alto per un semplice pezzo di plastica; se però volete risolvere il problema di fuoriuscita acqua dal vaso durante lo scarico questo è l'oggetto che fa per voi.

Utilizzando questo cono si elimina il problema della fuoriuscita di acqua del WC. Bisogna incastrarlo nel tubo di scarico della cassetta. Nel mio caso l'ho dovuto tagliare per diminuire il diametro. Molto utile!
