The Grohe Precision Trend New Bath Thermostat Mixer looks great and appears to be well-made overall. It works perfectly so far, with smooth operation and reliable temperature control, which is what you'd expect from Grohe.That said, I’ve noticed a few details that feel like a step down compared to older products in the same range. For example, the temperature and flow markings are much less visible than before, which can make everyday use a bit less intuitive. Also, the wall connection skirts no longer fully cover the nuts — the older versions had telescopic skirts that did this neatly, and it was disappointing to see this detail omitted. I actually reused the old skirts, which thankfully still fit and were in good shape.One positive surprise was the inclusion of the tools needed to open the unit — a thoughtful touch. However, it would’ve been helpful if Grohe included silicone or rubber gaskets for compatibility with older S-connections, just in case they’re needed.In summary: it’s a good-looking and functional mixer, but not quite up to the high standards of previous Grohe bath thermostat models. Still, I hope it will maintain its performance over time.
