Update 30.9.21 5GHz funktioniert nun nach dem letzten Update der App!Um unseren Keller endlich gegen austretenden Wasser aus Rohren zu sichern, eine ständige Angst, haben wir vor einigen Monaten dem Sense Guard bei Amazon bestellt und von einem Fachmann einbauen lassen. Der Preis war fast 50% geringer als bei unserem Heizungsmonteur! Es war zwar ein holländisches Modell, was bei Amazon nicht erwähnt wurde, macht aber nichts, alles in Ordnung. Nur die App war zuerst nicht in Funktion zu bringen, sprich kein Zugang über WLAN. Im Internet fand ich den entscheidenden Tipp, bei der Installation das 5GHz WLAN temporär abzuschalten und dann konnte ich ein Firmware Update und einige Einstellungen vornehmen. Die App ist gut bedienbar, die Daten wie Seriennummer und PW für das interne WLAN, stehen in der Anleitung bzw auf dem Gerät. Für uns ganz wichtig und das Ziel erreicht, nun in Ruhe abwesend sein zu können. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

I researched several of these devices from various manufacturers. I know and trust Grohe products having had their fixtures in various residences over the years. This device is in a whole different league than competitors offerings. Unlike some reviews on here, I have had no issues with the Grohe Sense Guard or the Grohe Sense app for iOS. I had my plumber install a bypass loop as recommended in case the device needs to be removed for whatever reason. I registered the device on the app and it connected to my wifi immediately. This summer, I forgot I left my hose running adding water to my hot tub and the Grohe Sense Guard turned the water off and alerted me of a possible leak. It runs checks nightly and occasionally I will get a warning that it could not conduct its pressure test. Other than that, it seems to be working just fine. I also added several of the Grohe Smart Water Sensors in various areas around the house. Again, these devices connected immediately without issue. I tested one in a shallow pan of water and it sounded its alarm and the Grohe Sense Guard turned the water off and alerted me on my phone. For me, having these devices "guarding" my house from water damage is worth the cost and effort to learn how they work. Although the app may not be perfect, it works just fine for me. So, I highly recommend the Grohe Sense Guard and the Grohe Sensor pucks if your looking for a high quality product to stop a water catastrophe.

Sur le smartphone, visibilité du fonctionnement de la vanne et des détecteurs. En un clic, possibilité de mettre en pause la vanne (restant grande ouverte), si un beoin exceptionnel d'eau (arrosage) de la mettre en fonctionnement intelligent ou de l'arrêter, lorsqu'on s'absente du domicile. J'ai protégé la vanne avec un petit onduleur Shneider, qui permet un fonctionnement lors de coupures de courant.
