The picture don't do justice to the quality of this globe. Is it so beautiful, heavy, and really all you can want from a globe. I bought it once for a friend and then second time for my niece some time afterwards. Solid gift.

What a beautiful globe on gpfirst impressions! Made of a moulded hard resin type material it is sculpted with swans, roses and pillars around the base and inside the globe two further swans and a ballerina. On turning over I noticed it plays a tune which can be wound up using the attached winding key and there is an on/off switch too. I turned this on and noticed it changed colour as well s the inner part rotated. No idea what the sweet little tune was but it was joyful. This would be very magical to any little girl and I know much a little girl who loved it when I gave it fo Easter. Quite a large size, quiet heavy and feels robust though your not going to want to drop test this, to see whether it will last.

It looks beautiful...but not sure what the tune is that it's playing....supposed to be Swan Lake..TBH can't make it out?
