I used to have the most amazing snow boots, which were bought in Canada ages ago, they were very warm, lightweight, comfortable and waterproof. I used them every winter while living in the Rockies for over a decade. When I moved to the U.K., I stupidly left them behind, so I shopped around for something similar but not horribly expensive, I settled on these, I originally ordered my size, since the reviews all said they come fairly generous in size, well that was a mistake. They fit like a glove, which wouldn’t allow me to wear thick socks, luckily the return was super easy and I order the next size up. This time I had plenty of room for thick winter socks, which is a must for me.I have been wearing them regularly for walks and they feel more comfortable now than the first couple of times I wore them, no chafing, absolutely no water ingress anywhere and my feet are protected from the cold.The downsides are that they are heavy and not very flexible, so not exactly the best walking shoes, the zipper is a bit dodgy and can catch very easily, so one has to be careful when doing it up.Also, they look a bit erm…shall we say industrial? Not very elegant, but they keep my feet dry and warm.

I usually take my time looking for the right shoes/boots as I'm quite particular with my requirements. I've bought expensive boots which have fallen apart after just wearing them a few times and been very disappointed!I needed some boots at very short notice as I was going on a school trip with my daughter to a forest in very muddy conditions. I found these and was not disappointed...they are strong, durable, waterproof, comfortable, warm and a really good price! The arrived quickly. Really pleased with my purchase!

Brilliant pair of boots. I got them a few months ago and regularly wear them in very muddy, rainy and wet weather. I can literally walk in soaking wet grass and deep puddles, and not only do my feet stay bone dry, they are so comfy and warm and soft it feels like your feet are being hugged! They're not the best looking shoes, but who cares?! They do the job, and lets face it we're not wearing them to look good, we're wearing them when working or hiking outdoors. Very glad I purchased these! :)

Bought because I work in a kennels and the wet weather means I needed sturdy water tight boots. I'm not keen on wellies and these are a great alternative. My only complaint is it's a little loose at the top of the foot but not horrific to wear especially if you have thick socks on. Very warm, quick to get on and off.

These boots are absolutely fantastic, especially given the price. I own a pair of Aigle wellies (= cold feet over the winter months where I live), Sorel boots (a tad uncomfortable) and a pair of Merrell snow boots (too pretty to get mucky and without the rubberised exterior, difficult to clean)… all cost well over £100.These boots, on the other hand, encompass all of the good aspects of the above boots rolled into one, at less than a quarter of the price.Our garden is heavy clay soil and gets very waterlogged over winter. The groundwork boots keep my feet dry, warm in freezing temperatures and I cannot tell you how comfortable they are. They are soft and cushioned and you don’t feel as though you are wearing a pair of heavy duty muck boots… I’m sad to take them off! I didn’t know what to expect really, given how inexpensive they were (I paid around £28), and I had never heard of the brand before, but I have been blown away by their comfort and durability. I would not hesitate to recommend them; best purchase to date.
