The basic function of the safety goggles is to block the light when you sit in front of an infrared lamp or similar. But they can't do that because they are made of a soft plastic that is not 100% blocking the light ! To make matters worse, the goggles are tiny, as if they were made for children. On a regular pair of eyes they put pressure on the eye balls, and light falls on the area right around the goggles, which allows it to reach your eyes. You cannot face the light, wearing the goggles, you will be blinded anyway if the light is strong enough. I have tested the goggles with a simple 100W infrared lamp, sitting at approx. 75cm away from the lamp. There is also a nasty chemical smell coming from the goggles. This can't be good for your skin.
