Der mechanische Scheibenbremssatz macht auf den ersten Blick einen ordentlichen Eindruck. Die Bremssättel sind aus Aluminium gefertigt und sehen stabil aus, die weißen Akzente heben sich optisch gut ab. Für ein günstiges Set bekommt man alles, was man für vorne und hinten benötigt – inklusive zwei Bremsscheiben.Funktion & Montage:Die Montage war machbar, aber etwas fummelig – eine genauere Anleitung hätte geholfen. Einmal richtig eingestellt, funktioniert die Bremsleistung solide, auch wenn sie nicht mit hochwertigen Modellen mithalten kann. Für Alltagsfahrten reicht es, sportliche Fahrer sollten allerdings Abstriche einplanen.Fazit:Günstiges Komplettset für einfache Einsätze. Mit etwas Geduld beim Einbau erfüllt es seinen Zweck, aber man darf keine Top-Performance erwarten. 🚴⚙️

 

Not good at allcaliper keeps locking up and won't releaseThe other caliper ratchet inside is faulty so lose brakes completely not good when trying to stop.Now have to mess about getting them off to send back and without a bike.Very disappointed 😞

The first thing I have to say is I am basing this review on a cable operated calliper and therefore not comparing it to a hydraulic version, which I think we can agree gives much superior braking.Looking at these callipers they look really good quality, although I do have to say the white version would not be my first choice, but I'm not complaining, comparing these to other cable callipers I have tried out these ones have a few things I really like, one of those is no plastic parts, some use a plastic inner pad adjuster which can be hard to turn and even though the plastic adjuster has a Allen key hole I have even had that round out, these callipers use a metal adjuster which is much better.Once fitted these should give a decent amount of braking force, I find that like all cable operated disc brakes though they can need a lot of adjusting to get the best out of them, and they can need adjusting again after a ride or two, if it's a set of cable operated callipers you are looking for these are a good choice.

Seem solid enough for my go-kart project.I like that these are simple cable brakes rather than the pneumatic ones and a good price too with tools provided.
