Review for: "Gupamiga baby Playpen Kids Activity Centre Safety Play Yard Home Indoor Outdoor - Super Strong Protection for Your Little Ones' Playtime, 2024 New Model (9 panels+1 door)"Brand: GupamigaFirst look: The Plastic Baby Playpen came in a box (76 cm x 15.2 cm x 60 cm) with a weight around 20 lbs. Inside the box, the plastic connectors are in between the bars of the panels, so be careful pulling them out. I received one door panel and 3 panels the same size as the door (75.1 cm wide x 57.8 cm high) 6 small panels (37.5 cm wide x 57.7 cm high), 8- 90° buckles (4 of each direction), 12- 180° buckles, 8- 3-way buckles (T-shaped), 15 grey flexible feet, the instruction manual, and product registration card. The plastic fence can be used as a playpen or storage rack. For the playpen, you combine the door and 3 of the regular size panels with all 6 of the small panels, although you can build it smaller by not using all of them. The 180° buckles go between each panel, top and bottom, and the 90° buckles go on each corner. The smooth side of each panel is on the top, as the feet go on the bottom. If you use the wrong piece on the top corners, you may not have enough for the bottom, so just switch one. I found I wasn't able to get the pieces on all the way as I was building it on a soft, uneven surface, and it takes a bit of force downward to get the buckles fully on. It took me about 20 minutes to build, but it would probably be quicker the second time, now that I know what goes where. The playpen doesn't have a bottom but a foam play mat (not included) would work well underneath. The size when built is about 150.3 cm x 116.3 cm x 58.3 cm. The door lock is about 32 cm from the ground so you need to kneel down to open and close it, rather than it being on the top where you could access it from a standing position. The storage rack is made up of the four main panels for the shelves with the door on the bottom, and the six small panels make up the sides. It uses the T-shaped buckles on the shelves and the 90° buckles on the four corners. I found it more difficult to build the shelving unit than the playpen because 3 pieces have to fit together instead of only 2. It's easier to build the shelving on the ground like the playpen, rather than vertically. When building the shelving, make sure to keep all the smooth edges on the same side for it to look right. I wasn't paying attention to this so some of the shelves have the feet on the front and some are smooth. Also, it matters which way the 90° pieces go, so either build it the way the instructions show you or be consistent, as it will change the overall size slightly, or not line up properly if it's not the same on each side. The size of the shelving when finished is about 79 cm wide x 58.6 cm deep x 112.6 cm high.Opinion: The playpen can be made into different sizes and can be used for babies or pets. The bar spacing is just under 2" (5 cm) so would work for puppies or small dogs with heads bigger than that. The shelving unit is okay but wiggles a little bit back and forth so I'm not sure how much it could support. The plastic shelves also bend a bit so cannot take much weight. This shelving would be best for only lightweight items.

My wife and I like this playpen. The details from safety to practicality hits all the right notes. The double-reinforced design is reassuring. The top and bottom connectors + non-slip base keep it rock-solid. The 23-inch height is great and allowing our baby to peek over safely while standing but still keeping them secure. The smooth, rounded edges and well spaced bars eliminate worries about pinched fingers or toes. The external door latch is a genius touch. Now we can finally step away for a quick break without fear. The eco-friendly material had no odor makes the playpen ready to use immediately. The off white finish isn’t just easy to clean but also blends perfectly with our Scandi-style home. We also like its convertible design. Once our baby outgrows it, it transforms into a storage shelf for toys and books.

Product is pretty OK. Plastic is a little flimsy and it came with a bunch of black greasy fingerprints all over it that I couldn’t get off. I had to go out and buy a Mr. clean sponge and that seemed to do the trick.

This is a decent play pen. It's easy to set up and has a decent amount of room. It's lightweight enough to move around easily. The downside is the fully plastic build, which feels quite cheap, as well as looking pretty ugly. Overall though, a decent pen.

So, to start off, I am rather impressed with how solid and well made the panels are, and even the door. It locks together easily, using clips in the corners and between panels, and take but moments to get in place. The door is well designed and easy to use, but still to hard for tiny hands/minds to figure out, so no likely unplanned escapes. My only issue is that, while the size is ok, if you were to buy a second one in order to combine them to make a larger area, it simply won't work. There is only the 4x upper/lower corner and 6x upper/lower straight connectors in the set, and no extras, so while you could add 1 (possibly 2) extra panel to each side, the remaining panels could not be used, as the left-over connectors would all be corners! This literally make it impossible to extend without begging the company to sell you more of those on their own, which they do not offer! If they did, it'd have 5 stars for sure!
