I purchased this at the beginning of May as I use nothing but Gutermann sewing thread, I had only just started using this reel and have had nothing but problems with it. It’s as though it’s a “second” and it’s faulty, the thread has several breaks, the thread is not wound on the reel properly and layers of thread are trapped under others snapping the thread, it’s really frustrating to use. I’ve been using Gutermanns for years and never had this problem before.
