I was looking for a few pencil packs for my various grandchildren, all of whom love art. I’m a bit of an artist myself, and have a lot of coloured pencils but didn’t want to let them loose at present on my expensive sets by Faber Castel, Prismacolours, Holbeins or Caran d’Ache Luminance pencils. Id already bought everyone -Avis when I came across these. A bit of digging clarified that H and B are a huge maker of pencils , based in Shanghai. Their website relates to partners they work with, including Arteza and Staedtler. I also suspect they make pencils that others sell under various brands - in fact judging by the packs I’ve bought just this week, suspect they also make Artx , Kalour, Hiforny, Evazar and possibly also Brutfuner - and to be honest given l’ve pencils by all of those, in my personal opinion they do all seem to be pretty much the same (very nice) pencil - they all lay down well, they are creamy, rub out easily, and many of the colours seem pretty much the same, albeit with different colour names.The price of these - including the case - was amazing value. As expected, on arrival they looked, felt and laid down almost exactly the same as my Arteza pencils and my Evazar pencils. They even came with a rubber (eraser for those over the pond, rubber here in the UK) and much to my surprise (because usually anything shipped with a blade seems to get removed because of import requirements) a single hole metal pencil sharpener.I cannot fault the presentation and production of these. The pencils are excellent, and blend and layer well. My grandson loves them, as do I. In fact in future I think I’ll just go right to the horses mouth, and just buy direct from H and B.

Pour petit budget, je les ai pris pour mon coloriage mystère. Sertes les experts du crayon de couleur vont dire et critiquer ce crayon et il auront raison mais moi je les trouves parfait jolie couleur toutes différentes glisse bien sur mon papier imprimante 90 g et selon la pression de la mine donne 2 couleurs je recommande pour toute la famille et le loisir de dessin. Livré en trousse de tissu bien rangé mais il va falloir crée un nuancier (car les couleurs sont dans le désordre) il y a une gomme et.
