Came as described. Although is bigger, is as heavy as my other tools, comfortable to use. Cuts flush and can get to difficult knots in the wire. Been using it for a couple months and I love it.

Use it only for cutting soft wires. The metal blades are soft and I damaged mine trying to cut a steel wire. Now I see that cheaper, good quality cutters have become available.

As of 2025 these items are still being manufactured in Italy and are quite hard-core. The build is very strong and sturdy and the sharpness and power of the blades is probably the best I've seen. This is the best one on the market that I'm aware of - cuts wires like paper.

Great value for money, they've gone to the position of the 'good' side cutters reserved for finishing boards. Not as good as the Lindstrom cutters , but pretty close for a fraction of the price.
