El fabricante nos remite estos dos adaptadores magnéticos con pantalla USB-C a USB-C en un pack, embalados de forma independiente. Cada uno de los adaptadores incluye una pequeña llave de plástico que actúa como palanca y permite extraer fácilmente el conector USB-C magnético.Una vez que los tenemos en la mano nos encontramos con que están bien construidos, en materiales metálicos. En el extremo, el conector USB-C macho será el que introduzcamos en el dispositivo que queramos alimentar. Este conector, magnético, se separa del resto del adaptador quedando insertado en el dispositivo. El imán es bastante resistente.En la parte frontal del adaptador disponemos de la pantalla numérica que nos va a mostrar, en el momento en que conectemos el adaptador a algún dispositivo, la información de consumo pudiendo consultar voltios, vatios y amperios de forma secuencial. Puede suministrar energía hasta 240W al ser compatible con el protocolo PD.Además el adaptador es compatible con transferencia de datos hasta 40Gbps y vídeo hasta una resolución de 8K.En mis pruebas (no dispongo de equipos que lleguen al máximo vataje, velocidad de transferencia ni resolución) he podido verificar que superan sin problema 1Gbps de velocidad de transferencia, suministran 75W a mi ordenador portátil y el vídeo a 4K HDR funciona perfectamente.Son un complemento útil, que aporta mucha información sobre el consumo de nuestros dispositivos. El conector magnético además va a proteger el puerto USB-C del dispositivo al que esté conectado, evitando que entre polvo y suciedad. Teniendo en cuenta su precio, calidad de construcción y versatilidad, los recomiendo.

Handy device for measuring the exact power of a usb-c device. The little display constantly cycles between current (amps), voltage (volts), and power (watts). The display reading will be upside down if your usb-c ports are on the left of your keyboard as they are on my current Lenovo laptop.The magnetic feature is especially great safety feature for laptop computers in that it may save the expense and complexity of having to replace the usb charging port if it eventually starts loosing connection with the circuit board.The price seems reasonable considering they ship in a 2 pack. I charge my laptop and phone primarily in 2 different locations that both have chargers, so I will likely use both for the one machine.

This looked like an interesting little gadget that I just had to try out. The two features that caught my eye were the magnetic connection and the built-in display showing charging current and wattage—both things I’ve wanted in a USB accessory.What I really liked was how easy it was to set up. Once the USB-C connectors are attached to the cable and device, the magnetic tip snaps into place and immediately starts showing the charging values. I can’t vouch for the accuracy of the readings, but they’re useful for a general idea of power flow.One downside is that the magnetic connection is a bit too easy to disconnect. I’ve accidentally tugged the cable while moving my phone or laptop, and it just pops off. A stronger magnetic hold would make it more practical.That said, it’s still a fun and functional product—definitely useful, but a little on the pricey side for what it does.
