While I have a few spindle sanders I like the idea of the handle on this one, as it should give better control of position and pressure. It is also a convenient size for the sort of things I make.It would have been 5 stars but for one issue, the M10 threads cut into the end of the handle and the two corresponding retaining nuts were badly machined. One nut was very tight and the second was too tight to fully engage. I ended up running a tap through the threads to get rid of any burrs. This helped a lot. But the customer should not have to do this to get the tools to work properly. It’s poor quality control, so I knocked of a star!

This is a handy tool when you need to sand into curved recesses like on a guitar, and much cheaper than an orbital sanding machine. For occasional jobs... The sanding machine would be better if you need the tool often.At first the screw that keeps the sanding drum tight keep coming undone, then I realised if you put the drill in reverse it stays tight.The biggest negative is that the glue join in the sandpaper cylinders bumps when you are sanding which is a pain if you need a smooth surface.The big problem I have just discovered is that it is hard to find replacement sandpaper sleeves. On Amazon.de there are some sleeves on offer but they are all in sets of many sizes and one sleeve of each size! I cannot find any seller of just the size I want. So you will end up buying lots of sleeves you can't use! Or you will use you sleeves that come with it and not use the product again...This seller does not seem to offer the replacement sleeves which is strange.Overall I'm quite happy with the actual sander product, but very frustrated about the replacement sleeve issue.
