I had previously purchased a different version of this magnifier, but this one is by far the best.I use it for looking closely at rocks to determine the size, shape and colour of the crystals that they contain and so identify them. This model has a brilliant white light build in , which does not alter the actual colour of the crystals. It doesn't, as stated in the specifications, have x30 magnification but that is not an issue for me the x10 is enough.I would recommend it to anyone wanting to study and measure very small things.
