１、防水キャップがペラペラですぐに外れてしまいます。何の意味もありません。２、防水キャップの脱落防止リングがワッシャーのように面ではなく薄い筒状。ナットを締めると変形して外れてしまいます。ナットは手で軽～く締めるのが精一杯。しっかりと固定できないし、間隔から水が入ってしまいます。写真は綺麗に取り付けてあるように見えるでしょうけど(笑)これって実用にならない不良品ですから、出品者さんに返金してもらいたいです。

Easy to fit and works

This HangTon Waterproof USB 3.0 Coupler Connector makes a decent USB port for inside my truck. I don't think I would trust it at all in a situation where water is an issue.It's rather hefty in its construction and would hold up well in rough conditions.I am only using it as a USB port for a new stereo installation, so I didn't really need anything so bulky. The drill hole size needed for mounting is 7/8". A bit large in my opinion.Instead of a threaded nut on the back, which would have made for a clean look, they opted to design the attach point as 2 exposed screws in the front. In fairness, I changed out the fine thread screws for sheet metal screws that don't blend in color-wise like the originals, but that's what I needed for my particular situation.At first I installed it with the 'waterproof' grommet and cover, but didn't like the look, so I took it off since I don't really need it. The 'waterproof' rubber cap barely holds in place because there is hardly any lip for it to attach to. It wouldn't take much to knock it off and expose the port to the elements.It just doesn't hold on tight at all.It worked OK for my situation, but if you are looking for a truly waterproof USB port, I would keep shopping.
