De LH-S245N vierkante metalen lenskap is ontworpen voor Sony FE 50 mm F2.5 G, FE 40 mm F2.5 G, FE 24 mm F2.8 G-lens. Deze lenskap met bajonetbevestiging beschermt de lens tegen strooilicht, voorkomt of beperkt lensflare, waardoor uw contrast en beeldkwaliteit worden verbeterd. Biedt extra bescherming aan de camera en lens tegen krassen door ongevallen.
Het hoofdgedeelte van de lenskap is gemaakt van een hoogwaardige aluminiumlegering en de bajonet is gemaakt van kunsthars, die uw lens niet beschadigt. Daarnaast is de zonnekap voorzien van een metalen kap.

De kap is bajonetontwerp, heeft geen invloed op het gebruik van UV-filters
Helpt verdwaalde licht en reflecties te blokkeren.

Very good quality! I put it on my Sony 20mm f2.8 pancake lens with my a6700 and there isn’t any play! I was also able to put the hood on with an ND filter underneath it as well.

The hood is all metal, including the cap and fits on each other very snug, was worried it might just fall off in bag or while carrying but is very secure indeed.The hood also attaches very firmly with the lens which also is great. It takes a slightly extra force to twist it off compared to the OEMOnly downside is the use of filters if you're using a cpl or a variable ND as there's no access to adjust them.Very happy with the setup. 10/10

I rarely give a review, but this lens hood puts an end to the notion that things made in China are subpar. This lens hood is made of aluminum and then anodized black. The fitting is perfect for the the Sony 40mm lens with a twist and snaps into alignment, staying square on the lens. Being an older Leica M user that has a similar plasticky square hood for their 35 Summicron, this hood is even better, and yet costing 4 times less than the Leica version. At $40, it is not cheap by any means, but the quality is first rate and you don't feel being gouged by the name brand.
