This raised a giggle and a smile almost instantly upon removing the hoody from the Amazon packaging. A smile will befall anyone's face who sees this because of the 'wow' moment when you first get a glimpse of the colour and hologram-like reflective material. But, my personal giggle was at a sudden surge of memories from my time as an underground dance DJ in my 20s & 30s when I'd have loved to have worn this during my sets (as well as a vision of my forthcoming 50th where this will make its first public appearance as I DJ again for the first time in many years!).The material is thin & lightweight, ideal for sweaty clubs and summer evenings/nights at festivals etc. I worry about snagging so will be careful to try and not catch the material - like you ladies do with tights. The seam work seems solid enough with overlocked stitching - there is evidence of some stitches not locking tightly due to running the material through the machine too fast, but this is minor and to be expected within tolerances. The zip seems solid enough and is probably the sturdiest part of the entire garment.When it comes to value, if I saw this hanging on a shop rail at £26 I would like it but probably pass... I think even £24.99 would be pushing it based on how thin and potentially damageable this garment is, I'd be more likely to buy if this was ≤£22 - that is just my personal view on value.TL;DR - sparkly and jangly, perfect for warmer times or environments, sure to raise many smiles. Could be cheaper.
