I am low-key obsessed with this little flower press. I have so many flowers or four-leaf clovers on hikes or walks, and with nothing to preserve them, I either have to wonder what they were or try to press them between credit cards in my wallet. This little press is exactly what I needed to collect samples to learn new flowers and record them in my nature journal later. My favorite detail is the little honeycomb-wrench for tightening the nuts. The bright gold and the flower details on the front board are lovely too. The bolts are long enough to hold 3 pieces of cardboard between the wood. All the parts are neatly shipped, unassembled, in a plastic case, which is a nice presentation but isn't the most environmentally-friendly option as the case doesn't serve a function after the press is assembled. It's super simple to put the flower press together, and when it's assembled, it's cute enough to hang on a bag or small enough to slip into a pocket. It would be a great addition to your nature-journal go-bag or a gift for a nature-lover.

Just the other day, my son handed me a small bloom to press, but we were on a road trip and I didn’t have a safe and secure place to put the little flower while we were out and about.Now I do!!This makes me so happy!I have a big 12x12 flower press, but this small one is perfect to take with me everywhere for spontaneous flower-pressing!This is a genius idea and cleverly executed!The charming honeycomb metal tool is decorative and functional to tighten/loosen the nuts/bolts to access the blotting paper.I decided to keep all 10 sheets of blotting paper stored in my little travel flower press. This way, I should be prepared for the majority of spontaneous flower gatherings.The kit also provides 2 extra cardboard sheets, which I will keep in the reusable plastic case the set came in, until needed.I am very pleased with this set!

This is such a cute little flower press. My 6 yo daughter loves it! We take it with us on walks and if we find a new flower we put it in. But, the honeycomb “key” to tighten the screws is too big, which makes it very difficult to screw. You end up trying tightening the screws by hand, so that’s a bummer.

I love looking for four-leaf clovers wherever I go, but I don't always bring my large flower press with me because it is too bulky. This flower press keychain is the perfect alternative! It does a good job of appearing fashionable, while also functional. I especially love the honeycomb decoration that doubles as a wrench!Personally, I did change out the included corrugated cardboard dividers for some thinner cardboard to help it fit a few more blotter papers in the press, but it isn't necessary. I just like to have extra.

I need to preface this by saying I have never been more torn over how to review an item. This press is just so tiny and cute. The floral designs on the front are really nice and crisp. And—in theory—it comes with everything you need to successfully press some small flowers.However.As an actual flower press, it kind of fails. The bolts are not long enough to allow room to press more than a flower or two, max. The honeycomb charm is so pretty, but the holes are a little too large to work super well to tighten the bolts. Additionally, the key-chain part of it is awkward, as you basically have to take it completely loose to fill the press, which is obnoxiously fiddly.At time of writing, this flower press is listed at $15.99, which I feel is incredibly high for the pure aesthetics of an adorable key-chain. And while I do love the ridiculous thing just for the cuteness, I am also disappointed that it isn't very functional at all.
