My wife is usually a size 12-14 but being pregnant with twins we went for a size 16 to fit comfortably over the bump.There are buttons halfway down the back and all down the front, so provides easy access in hospital for any medical investigations, and convenient for skin to skin and breastfeeding.The neckline is quite large so she did find it fell off a shoulder most times of wearing which was a little irritating. This would perhaps not be a problem if you bought your usual size.It arrived with an odd manufacturing smell so do wash before use, but is lightweight and soft enough to be very comfortable.Sleeping on your side, you aren't bothered by the buttons overnight, so that wasn't noted as being an issue.I would buy again but perhaps a size smaller.

I'm a breastfeeding mother and needed some easy-access pyjamas that I can wear for night feeds. This is ideal, and speaking from experience, would have been great for labour.Pros:- Buttons at front are easy to do up and undo for quick nursing so you don't have to faff at night- Buttons at back, although not so useful out of hospital, would have been good for labour and examinations, and they don't reveal anything when done up- Designed in a way that the buttons aren't uncomfortable and don't dig in- Starry pattern is much nicer than a hospital gown (and more flattering and covering)- Nice, baggy fit; I'm size 8 and the small fits really comfortablyCons:- Has a strong smell before washing. Hard to describe... a bit "chemically"As a nursing dress, it's great. I also like that it's quite long too so I can (try to) protect my dignity, and it's really soft and comfortable too on sensitive areas. It's also great for postpartum recovery at home.I'd recommend this for new mums, and would definitely say it's a good contender for dress to give birth in; I wish I'd seen this before to save me sitting in hospital topless!

I’m 5’8 and 32w pregnant.I was debating whether to go for a Small (my usual size) given the loose fitting style or for a Medium and I’m so happy I went for a size M.It currently fits just right and there is some room to grow.Length is fine. Currently goes a bit above the knee so I’m not showing too much.Fabric is really uncomfortable. Not soft at all.There are some buttons in the back too so should be easy enough for nurses to have access but they don’t run all the day down which is probably a good thing, otherwise I imagine it gets uncomfortable to sleep on your back.Washed okay at low temperature.

Comfortable light material that doesn't cause skin irritation.Good stretch to fabric.Cleanes well

I ordered this in my usual size 8 this does seem slightly too big, but I feel like that kind of adds to the comfort of this nightdress.This does have buttons on the front and some going down the back too which in my opinion would make sleeping on your back uncomfortable, but if it just being worn around the house then this would not be a problem.Overall this breastfeeding nightdress feels great quality so I am happy to recommend.
