Bought this to tidy up an old apple tree in the garden, on the first branch the blade bent and by the 3rd branch it had snapped completely.It’s a shame because it was quite sharp and also the folding worked really well.

Not great. Quality is quite cheap considering it's German made and Japanese styled. The finish on the rubber on the handle is not finished as well as it could be and the locking trigger/mechanism doesn't feel smooth. Perhaps I am being too harsh considering the price is reasonable. I bought this as a backup to my silky and Z saw Japanese folding saws, die to the price. The silky and Z being quite substantially higher priced. This would be why I expected higher quality perhaps. One big down side is I could seem to find replacement blades for this saw. So once blunt or bent the whole saw needs disposing of. As a DIY saw it's fine but as a long term saw I would spend the extra money and get a silky or a Z.

Good quality steel for the pro, but handle locking mechanism in the engaged setting (opened up) needs improvement. Keeps slipping from the horizontal locked position when pressure is applied
