Missing mold one pice came it was used like most of Amazons products there was no inspection on any of these items before inspection just redirected to next customer which was me and it’s is plastic and flimsyNot A Robot

While it’s easy to clean, a plastic whisk just doesn’t compare to a traditional bamboo chasen. It doesn’t create that smooth froth on top of the matcha and makes the whisking motion feel stiff. I much prefer the feel and results of a bamboo whisk.

It's a little narrower than the old bamboo that I managed to nurse along for a year with the tines falling off once in a while. (Also slightly narrower than the 5.5cm/2.17in measurement.) I seem more prone to sloshing a bit of liquid out of the bowl when using it. The tines are stiff and froth up the matcha as expected. The outer ring of tines fit loosely for the last 1/8" or so, but this doesn't seem to affect the use. It's just likely to have a bit of space between the ring at the top of the tines and the handle. Good, but not spectacular. Definitely a solid budget option.Much smoother and easier to clean than bamboo. Dries better. Should be less prone to little black growths and last much longer. But you won't question that it is plastic. It sure is plastic. I do worry slightly about putting it into hot water as it states it isn't dishwasher safe.
