Great light tent. Certainly worth the extra spend over the amazon basics light tent, which I found the uneven and permanently fixed lighting inside troublesome.The havox tent allows for maneuverable lighting and dimmers which is essential when photographing extremely reflective products.The only criticism would be some low quality velcro materials which could be replaced with zips.

Although I'm fairly new to photography I have wanted a light box for a few months now, primarily as we sell a fair bit on ebay and a decent picture really does help your listing stand out from the others. My wife's company also sells small pieces of jewellery and head pieces for weddings etc, and professional product photography is an expensive business, so we saw this as an investment that should hopefully pay off. At the time I ordered it was a penny under a hundred pounds, which isn't an insignificant amount but something we felt would be worth spending.Firstly the unboxing and assembly. It arrives inside a cardboard box with everything all packed into it's own very neat looking carrying case - it looks like quality item from the start, and it's little touches like the assembly instructions and the editing guide (more on that later) coming inside a neat black envelope that give you confidence. The assembly instructions are brief but easy to follow, apart form one part which foxed me momentarily but more on that shortly.Assembly was easy - I'd say 10 minutes from start to finish. Just like putting up a tent, the second time was much easier and I reckon it was assembled and ready in 5 minutes. The only slight issue I had was with the two LED strips, as I didn't realise at first that the hanging hooks at each end need to rotate 180 degrees. It's completely obvious once you suss it out, but for a couple of minutes I was struggling. Assembly is a case of fitting the poles into the little corner pieces, snapping the led strips in and then fitting and zipping the cover. At the start I was worried that the poles forming the cube seemed a little flimsy, but my worries were misplaced as once you have it together it's solid as a rock. The only slight negative was the power supply for the leds is a 2 pin European type and not a standard UK 3 pin plug, so I had to reach for a travel adaptor. A minor point maybe, but it would be nice to have a proper plug for the UK market.The box comes with 3 different backgrounds - white, black and sort of pinky flesh colour, and it's easy to swap them around. The leds lights on my versions are dimable, which is a really neat touch, but the lighting is great - nice and evenly lit thanks to the reflective material on the walls. Quality wise everything feels really good and solid, from the zips to the power supply etc. and it certainly feels like a really well made product.There's a really nice little 16 page guide to taking and editing your photos, and hits on how to get that perfect white background. Now I'll be the first to admit that photography is still all new to me and I don't really know what I am doing, but even I was able to follow the guide to whiten the backgrounds. There's instructions for several programs including photoshop and GIMP, which is free editing software so there's no need to splash out on expensive software. I'll need to spend some time playing with camera settings and GIMP, but I'm already happy with what I am getting out of this little box so far.The good stuff:Quality, well made itemFits into it's own carrying caseEffect is great - light is well distributed and evenDimable leds give controlNice guide to getting good resultsThe not so good stuff:A minor quibble but it arrived fitted with a European plug, not 3 pin UK.In conclusion then I've been really happy with the results I've got out of this already, it really is a quick way to get professional looking results yourself at home. Although it doesn't take up loads of space it's easy to put back down in between use, and you can have it back up and ready to go in 5 minutes after the first time. If you ate looking for something for product shots, or like us for decent ebay photos to make your listing more appealing, then I can certainly recommend this. It's only going to take us one product photography session for my wife's business to save us way more than the £100 asking price, so we really can't go wrong.

Perfect for our needs. My wife is a reseller, and this is making her life much easier and she is taking higher quality photos with this light box. Dimmable, even lighting.. High quality construction.

I considered several brands and am thrilled I chose this one!• It's easy to put together• It breaks down to be stored in a nice carrying bag. It easily fits into the bag and doesn't take up a lot of space.• The background colors are made from a good quality thin plastic, they seem durable and setup easily• I am thrilled with the photos I am getting, I am so happy to have this enclosed environment so I no longer have to struggle with white balance and other colors coming in. Plus I get even lighting without harsh shadows. My post production time is so fast now! Maybe a quarter or less of the time.• I am pleased with the lights• The design allows for a variety of angles, whether from up top or the front.• I would recommend getting the right size box for your photos. You want to have plenty of space surrounding what you are shooting. If you have an object that goes to the edges they are more likely to not be as bright as the center area. I bought a great size for what I shoot, with plenty of space around my objects.• Overall this is a smart design
