This is an unusual, artistic, colorful wind chime. It would be nice outside if it was not exposed to daily rain. If you have a covered porch, near a window, hang in there so the sunlight can stream through the glass leaves and color your rooms. When the wind blows the leaves, it makes a tingling sound like the wind chimes made of seashells. Some people like to hear chimes from Bealls or aluminum pipes, this isn't that kind of sound. It is lovely hung in a corner with a light breeze, not a heavy blowing stormy gust. I have mine hanging in my sunroom window. The east light streams through it, and when I open the window and the wind gently blows the leaves, I'd like to hear the gentle sound of the glass bumping together. The pieces are crafted very nicely, and I think it was a good price for the craftsmanship. It came nicely packaged so the strings were not tangled. Everything came in working order, no broken pieces.
