Sitzt gut und hat beim Schwimmen erfolgreich vor einem Sonnenbrand geschützt. Es fühlt sich angenehm auf der Haut an und trocknet auch einigermaßen schnell. Das Daumenloch hat beim Schwimmen das Verrutschen verhindert. Tolles UV Shirt!

Wer im Sommer intensiver Wassersport betreibt, kommt nicht um die Anschaffung eines langärmligen Funktionsoberteils herum.Wir sind im Sommer häufig mehrere Stunden am Stück mit dem SUP auf dem Wasser.Das mit nur Bikini oder Badeshorts bekleidet zu tun, ist gar keine gute Idee - keine Sonnencreme kann die Haut bei so intensiver UV Belastung schützen, vor allem, wenn man dann noch schwitzt.Also ist neben Sonnenschutzcreme und Kopfbedeckung auch das Bedecken der Arme und des Oberkörpers sinnvoll. Dafür sind sog. Surf Oberteile, auch "Rashguard" genannt, gut geeignet.Das HDTIYUYP Damen Surf Shirt kommt in einem Kunststoffbeutel und passt mir bei 173 Zentimeter Körpergröße und Konfektionsgröße 42 (85C) in der XL sehr gut.Es sitzt figurumspielend und das Material (84% Polyester 16% Elasthan) ist angenehm zu tragen und leicht elastisch, bietet also sehr guten Tragekomfort. Das Synthetik-Material trocknet schnell, und fühlt sich angenehm glatt und kühl auf der Haut an.Merkwürdig finde ich, dass auf der Produktseite empfohlen wird, das Shirt ohne Waschmittel zu waschen, da sonst der UV-Schutz beeinträchtigt werden könnte. Auf dem eingenähten Wäsche-Etikett findet sich dieser Hinweis nicht, da steht nur "keinen Weichspüler verwenden". Ein Sportshirt, das Schweiß und Salzwasser aushalten muss, wird man wohl nicht ohne Waschmittel waschen wollen...Der Hersteller gibt auf dem Etikett am Shirt an, dass der Sonnenschutz UPF 50+ beträgt, das ist der höchste Sonnenschutz, den Bekleidung bieten kann und bedeutet, dass nur 2% der UV Strahlen den Stoff durchdringen können. Gesicht, Hände, Hals und Beine müssen natürlich trotzdem mit Sonnencreme geschützt werden.Der Schnitt mit etwas längeren Ärmel mit Daumenloch und einem kleinen halsfernen Stehkragen ist bei Surf- und Schwimmshirts so üblich. Auch sind alle Nähte flach gearbeitet, um die Reibung zu minimieren.Dass das Shirt an Ellenbogen und Hals kratzt, habe ich nicht feststellen können, meine Haut ist da aber auch nicht super empfindlich.Auch wenn ich mich gefreut hätte, wenn der Stehkragen des Shirts noch etwas höher geschnitten wäre und irgendwo einen kleine Reißverschlusstasche eingearbeitet wäre - das Shirt gefällt mir sehr gut!Ich finde, dass es gut geschnitten ist, viel Tragekomfort bietet und feminin und doch sportlich aussieht.Mit derzeit 17 Euro bietet das Shirt auch ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

I am keen on wild swimming in the sea but have had quite a few jellyfish stings on my arms and chest this year. I got this rash vest to help prevent this from happening and also for protection against sunburn and skin damage and ageing. I bought the rash vest in the navy colourway and in a 4Xl. This should fit a size 20 which I am but I did find it a bit on the snug side. It is meant to fit like a second skin but it really did come up a bit small I felt and was not flattering on me. however it does its job very well. I liked the thumbholes in the long sleeves very much as they keep the sleeves from riding up. My main use for this rash vest is swimming but I will also use it for paddle boarding and kayaking, it seems very suitable for these and other water and beach sports. The vest is made out of 85% recycled plastic and 15% elastane and it is woven into a high density fabric and offers protection against the harmful UV sun by blocking 98% of UVA and UVB rays - wet or dry. It also protects against rashes, stings and abrasions. I did find the neckline a bit scratchy and hope this will soften with repeated use and washing. It is a nice rash vest and looks like a quality item. It requires hand washing, has four way stretch and dries very quickly. Hopefully the rash vest should give plenty of service over the summer months or when I am abroad on holiday. Open the bag outside or over a bin as there were loads of little bits of fluff and thread in the bag with the vest which went all over my carpet.
