I have never played with gut strings so I cannot judge whether this synthetic gut is a good substitute. It is a multi-filament string. However, I have tried a number of strings and I like the way this product works with my racquet at 60 lbs and I'm going to stick with it. I would purchase a larger spool of this string but I cannot find it on Amazon.ca. It appears to come in white (less money) and yellow. I have only tried the yellow.

Very decent string for the money. I've strung it anywhere from 54 to 61 and like the play across the entire range.

This is a good string, as it plays powerful with decent control yet is comfortable for the arm and wrist.
