Released in 2019, these to films from 2006-2007 has added features not on previously released versions. Such as interviews, documentaries and a previously unreleased animated feature! Ever since I first heard director Guillermo Del Toro on the 2004 DVD commentary track, describing the few minutes of footage omitted from the movie, I've always wanted to see them. And thankfully, I can now say that this DVD director's cut/extended edition disc box set doesn't disappoint at all with both the extra footage and a wealth of extras across the three discs. I particularly love watching the video recorded cast commentary track, as Selma Blair's deadpan comedic sly asides are a hilarious joy. The movie itself stands as one of Guillermo's very best English language fantasy movies, full of great genius invention, design and love.

Excellent Bluray, good movie at a good price. For some reason I really liked these movies, however, I am looking forward to them rebooting with a darker vision of Hellboy, we'll see how it turns out. As for this movie and Bluray, the item was just as described by the Seller + fast shipping. Seller's Grade: A+
