Barely used the raincoat a few times under heavy downpours, raincoat was soaked, and the material started to break apart, especially near existing seams/folds.Do not recommend.

I just returned from a ten day Icelandic highlands trip. Each day was spent hiking 5-10 miles with rain nearly every day. The first two days was met with heavy sideways rain and at times 70 mph winds. Everything underneath this jacket stayed dry. I was impressed, it did just what I bought it for.
