I am 5ft (54kg) & I bought the small, it fits really well & has room for a jumper underneath without feeling snug. This is what I was hoping for as I will need layers. Arms are a tad long on me but with a jumper underneath they lifted and in cold weather I will be happy for the long arms. The jacket sits just below my butt - happy for a warm butt.I bought this jacket ready for my 1st holiday in the snow, I'm trusting the other online reviews I read on this jacket and would have to do a follow up review upon return from my holiday but it feels light on, not overly bulky, I love the Amethyst colour & it is not a tight fit - it does taper in a little towards the hips which I was not expecting, I thought the jacket wld go straight down - however, that could be normal for a snow jacket. I am really looking forward to wearing this stylish jacket and seeing if it lives up the reviews.
