I am very happy with my new box. I thought it was going to be the same size as my old one. Good thing it was bigger I needed the room. Lots of comments saying DMC bobbins dont fit up right. There is just enough space left in the lid to leave them up right. It makes the lid a little snug, but it works! I did not use the paper bobbins, I dont like paper ones anyway.

This box is well worth buying, particularly if you’re going on a vacation or time away from home. It’s one box full of a huge collection of coloured floss (including some metallics). You also get a threader, some snippets, a thimble, an unpicked and a load of x-stitch needles.The most impressive thing is the vast array of colours. Amazing. The spools are smaller than a fully wound Anchor or fully wound DMC spool, so you don’t get a lot of each colour, but I would be saving this beautiful for short trips away etc….so you don’t have to worry about bringing all your massive collection of floss….come on you know you have it.Good buy.

What a great product! I have a lot of DMC floss and anyone who does cross stitch or embroidery knows once you start to use skeins of floss they never remain neat and are prone to serious knotting. This box is big and perfect for a large number of floss using the included cardboard cards to wrap the floss neatly and become easily accessible. They include 100 cards but I haven’t used them all so I can’t comment on how many I can fit inside. I’m estimating over 100 as there are 16 compartments (plus a large one for scissors, etc.) and and I can fit 7-8 floss cards in one compartment. I don’t think the cardboard cards will last and so I will invest in plastic ones in the near future.This is a neat, handy box that I’m really pleased I bought. Essential for any cross stitcher! ;)
