Hemline Paraffine

Arrived in a cardboard sleeve, I wanted it because the plastic case is what I was after to keep the wax protected from my cats. Outside of that issue the product seems to be good enough.

Makes the hand sewing thread easier to use and a little stronger.

Wax comes in a cardboard container, not a plastic one as shown in the picture. I use this on my cross stitch threads and I like the look and ease of use since using the wax.

For the price it did its job. I have attached before and after photos to show you the difference.I planned to use the thread to bind single sheets into a book and so waxed them to ensure durability over time, which I feel the wax will do but would not buy again for bigger projects as it is quite flaky. It also dulls the colours slightly but as this is a waxed layer I can imagine this would always happen.
