I purchased 2 of these pizza boards for our pizza nights after ones I’ve owned for a LONG time broke due to them being left too many times in a sink full of water (18 years isn’t bad use).I was unsure of my purchase based on the second photo currently in the item description- it shows strapping along the back of the boards. Given the very reasonable price I paid for each board I thought I’d chance my luck.To my surprise the boards didn’t have the wooden strapping and are in fact what I’d expect of a normal pizza board. There indented grooves to assist in cutting your pizza. The boards are of very good quality for the price and very sturdy. If I treat them right I hope to get as many years out of these new ones too.

Wir backen leidenschaftlich gerne Pizza und haben immer nach einer ausreichend großen Platte gesucht, auf der die Pizza nicht verrutscht wie auf Porzellan. man kann die Pizza beinahe ohne festhalten anhand der Rillen durchschneiden. wir sind mehr als zufrieden und haben uns bewusst für diese Art von Holz entschieden. Die Reinigung ist sehr einfach.Besonders praktisch sind die Rillen an den Seiten um das Holzbrett besser vom Tisch abheben zu können.Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung.

Update- love it so much- I have now bought 2! I followed the instructions on oiling it before first use. I will clean without soaking in water as it is untreated beech. I sponge clean it, let it dry flat & rub lightly with a little more oil until next use. I use the flat side for rolling out flatbread. Serve pizzas off the board.😍😍Arrived before expected. On appearance alone- excellent size I bought the biggest. Good quality feel. Well made. I will be using it to place pizza on straight from the oven to dry out the base of the pizza. Will update after use.
