HERMA 7386 Niet zelfklevende mat boekdekking plastic filmrol, helder, 10 m x 40 cm

Not usable at all, not worth it and a waste of money.

I cover nearly all my hardcover books, paperbacks and my daughter's schoolbooks with transparent non-adhesive pvc. (Something I learned to do as a teenager and kept doing when I bought my own first - expensive - books.)This Herma non-adhesive pvc is not transparent and it's rather unmanageable. Also it doesn't stay put for long on intensively used schoolbooks.I used to buy the pvc at my bookstores from the big rolls they have. Decades ago I even bought such a huge roll, approx. 70cm wide x 50m from a bookstore. Still have and use it for big books like photography portfolios etc.A few years ago I also found Bronyl, made by a Belgian producer of non-adhesive pvc rolls and their pvc is perfect for ordinary book sizes and reasonably priced. Also available here on Amazon, though not in stock at the moment.
