When working with continuous or studio flash lighting I find using a variety of modifiers is a great way to explore a range of creative options. This Hersmay NG-10X Fresnel Lens Focusing Adapter is lightweight and has a series of ventilation slots to provide good heat dissipation. This is especially useful when using continuous lighting which can generate a fair amount of heat when in use.It is supplied with four colour Gels with Yellow, Green, Red and Blue options which will vary in hue depending upon the colour temperature settings of the light being used. Also included is useful storage bag in which the Fresnel and gels can be safely stored and transported. Having used this adaptor with both continuous and flash lighting I have had no issues with overheating and my LED light has operated within its normal temperature range. This Fresnel is designed to fit onto studio lights which use the Bowens S type fitting.In use I have found it especially useful for lighting individual subjects with a more concentrated area of light rather than having the entire background illuminated as well. The colour Gels are effective and simply twist in and then lock into the front aperture of this lens to change the colour of the light output. To remove them there is a red press button which releases the Gel enabling it to be removed or replaced with one of the other colour options. The concentration of light and the area lit can be easily adjusted by turning the front aperture which alters the focal length of this Fresnel to achieve the desired effect.In my opinion this a reasonably priced Fresnel light focusing adaptor which is well made and has a good range of options making it a very useful addition for photography or video work. Having used it with a range of different types of studio lighting I am very pleased with the results I have been getting. Recommended.

The product was a lot cheaper than those offered by other brands. However, the quality is really good. It is rigid and even after a longer period with hot permanent photo lights there was no negative effect. It focusses the beam nicely on my strobes. When used in front of modern LED lamps which typicallycome with a wide area of active lightpoints, the focus is less pronounced. This is not caused by the product but rather by the light source. Please consider this! While Frenel lens is nice I gave only 4 stars because the description does not warn that it is less effective on some LED spots. i.e. Neewer CL 60B omongst others)

I'll keep it simple, this focusing lens works great and is priced well.NOTE: This works best with a single color COB LED that is circular, square or other lights will cause odd colors effect and aberrations on the subject.
