I have 2 of these 200amp units on my solar system. I touched 205 amps for a few seconds once, did not flip. Not sure exactly what amperage and for how long to get it to flip. I did run one breaker between 160 and 190amp for about 1/2 hour. Contacts got a little warm, but nothing to concern myself with. Unit did not heat up.The lug size is a lttle smaller than i would like. I had to grind down my 2/0 lugs a1/16" to make it fit. Sturdiness in excellent.

Una Bestia di interruttore !! La percezione di robustezza è incredibile. Provato sino a 70A uso prolungato e rimane completamente freddo alla termocamera. l'azionamento del cursore è duro ma a mio parere è fatto apposta! Infatti durante l'azionamento carica una molla all'interno che sembra durante lo scatto una fucilata come un grosso contattore a bobina. A mio parere serve per chiudere il contatto in maniera rapidissima evitando potenziali archi voltaici.

This is a beautiful - BeAUtIFul beast of a DC breaker. I don't have the 250+++ DC amps to test capacity of this breaker (don't usually test my breaker capacity anyway) - did (and do) test short circuit, and she breaks on short.Don't let the photo fool ya - this is not light switch size.
