Received item in good condition - fast shippingThese M18 proximity sensor performed very well in my test,Operated well in the voltage range I tested it for - 10vdc - 15vdcHad no problem short term current of 158ma,Worked perfectly, did not even need to adjust sensor gain, maybe something that should be checked,Picked up wood at about 3/4 inch the way it came set, I will be using it for sawdust, so will update review if any problems later,For now I would have to recommend product as an inexpensive alternative to much more expensive sensors like $100-300 Allen Bradly but never for industrial as reliability is to much a concern,Would also for longer life if it is an option to use it at the low end of voltage rating, excellent for the hobbyist or for a wood working sawdust silo,

The device is constantly 'on'. Control LED constantly on.

This was what I needed. NPN 10-30VDC. This sensor has good accuracy, a light that signals when it is on and sensitivity adjustment. The diameter is M18, with 2 nuts for fixing. The cable has 3 wires for correct installation.
