This board is a beast! It’s huge, heavy, thick, and solid! I love the drip pan for the juices and for waste if using it for prep. I’ve oiled and conditioned it to prevent cracking and so far so good.

Amazon were brilliant at the delivery and return service, got my refund processed quickly. The chopping board is large, and heavy and made out of birch wood (not the hardest of woods). Used it once, then washed it, and within a few hours the board was warped so that it did not sit flat on the surface....which is obviously a problem for cutting / chopping. Returned it the next day. 5 stars for Amazon, 1 star for this expensive chopping board.

I entertain a lot and if there is one thing I hate, is carving a beautiful piece of meat on an inadequate carving board and coming back to a mess all over the counter and stove when you want to make a beautiful impression.I bought this to use for the Thanksgiving Turkey and it worked perfectly.No counter mess and a STUNNING carving surface and your juices collect for gravy. It holds the protein perfectly in place for a beautiful carve.Yes, it’s heavy. It’s a very thick piece of hardwood.It doesn’t slide all over the counter.Fantastic addition to my kitchen!
