Let me start by saying that this towel is lightweight, soft to the touch and of a good length. However, according the way that it is described as working it is not quite accurate.So, I soaked the towel and then wrung it out as hard as I could, shook it a few times and, apparently, good to go... well, at that point it was cooling, felt good around my neck and even better if draped it over my head. Once cooled I let it hang around my neck ready for the next use. And that is when I discovered the problem - fairly soon afterwards my t-shirt was wet enough under the towel to feel uncomfortable. I vigorously shook the towel out a couple of times and wrapped it around my head. At this point it was doing its job well, cooling my head and absorbing any sweat.As a result I give mixed review: it works well as a scarf, can be used as a towel but Be careful if you are going to soak it in water first as that aspect does not seem to work as described. If you don't care about having damp clothes then it works well. Good scarf, good towel, be careful how damp you make it.
