Perfect apparaatje voor de gebruiker die maar af en toe iets ir wil zien.Beeld is prima voor wat minder kritische toepassingen, daarnaast klein en je hoeft geen batterijen e.a. in de gaten te houden.Krtom, werkt goed in huis tuin keuken gebruik en net een stapje verder.

A small and easy to use basic thermal camera. No drivers for windows or Linux. Otherwise value for money.

This is a great little camera. It is great for a few things, and not great at others, but for the price it is mindblowing.I’ve used all kinds of thermal imagers from $30,000 ones all the way down to the cheapest ones you can find. The closest to this one is the Seek Thermal one (now FLIR?), but the HK Micro one is, IMO, much better. It’s also cheaper, newer, and smaller.I checked the accuracy in our lab with our infrared calibrators. Wow! I’ve seen even the most expensive cameras give worse results. Mine was within 1 °C @ 300 °C. About the same at -10 °C.The picture quality is decent. Monotone seems to look the best.Resolution is OK for IR. Not amazing.Night capture is OK, but this thing isn’t very sensitive when there are really low levels of IR to pick up. I’d guess you’d need a larger sensor and lens. It picks up nearby hot objects like cars, trees, and buildings just fine. Anything in the night sky will be just noise.I have a heated toilet seat and this thing shows it clearly in a pitch black bathroom. It also picks up my reflected IR image from the shower tiles, which was neat.You can turn on/ hot/cold spot auto detection and measuring.You can choose from quite a few palettes.No iOS app, which is fine. I prefer Android and only use my iPhone for work and videos.This thing is tiny!It comes with a nice little case and an extension cable, which is handy. Unfortunately, the cable doesn’t really fit in the case with the camera. It does, but it doesn’t really, if you know what I mean.If you need one, get it! If you want one, get it! If you want one for capturing objects in the night sky in the IR spectrum… maybe save up a few grand and get a better one.

Very well packaged, contains the camera in an internally padded hardshell, USB C extension cable, adapter & paperwork. The camera has its own lens cap but be aware that the cap is not tethered and may be lost easily.On first use, the software from the Play store autodetected the camera & noted there was an update available - which it then downloaded and installed. From there it was a single tap to enter live imaging mode and it took me no time at all to realise that I need to sort out my heat loss through the one remaining single glased window we have in the lounge. I'll be checking the rest of the house out later...There are some useful features, including area and spot temperature measuring, as well as picture-in-picture & video capture.The original price at this moment is £249 but I purchased with a £50 discount so I'm more than happy with the value for money.
