Bought this mallet for installation of log cabin.I already had both a black mallet (hard composite) and a white mallet (soft) but thought I would need another as there may be two us building.This mallet was by far the best. When laying The base, the black face struck nicely, it had good heft and a little squidginess to it, my other black mallet was too hard and just bounced.The cabin is made of 45mm spruce, the white face and good weight helped put the logs home without any damage to the t&g.In comparison to the other mallets I had, this was the only mallet that didn't damage.This mallet held up well, shows only minor wear after 4 days of constant use.This is my go-to mallet, and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Good balance,solid construction, does the job. Perfect for porcelain slabs as its double sided.
